How to Use
Downloads come in two formats:
- .docx — open and edit in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or Pages
- Canva link — open and edit directly in Canva
We recommend Google Docs or Canva for the cleanest formatting. Word and Pages work fine too, but spacing can shift a bit depending on your device.
Accessing Canva Documents
- Sign in to Canva, or create a free account at canva.com
- Open the Canva Template Links & Quick Start Guide .docx file. From there, you can access each Canva link from your purchase individually to add it to your library.
Customization & Use
- Sections we recommend customizing to your business, like specific salon policies, are marked in red text. Fill those in, then select all and change the text to black.
- Leave the compliance language as-is, unless it's been reviewed by a legal professional.
- Add your logo and branding to make it feel like your own.
- Print for in-person signing, add to your website, or upload to e-signature software like DocuSign or Adobe Sign.
- And just like that, you've got a complete legal system for your business, built around Utah's requirements, ready to go whenever you need it.
Why Invest in Professional Contracts?
- Built for Utah businesses, not adapted from a generic template. Every agreement is written specifically for the beauty industry and aligned with Utah Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL) standards.
- Professionally crafted, without the cost of custom legal drafting. You get the structure and credibility of thoughtfully developed agreements at a fraction of what it costs to have something built from scratch.
- More context than a quick download. Most agreements come with a companion guide explaining what it covers and how to use it, so you're not left guessing.
- Customizable to fit your business. Select what applies, remove what doesn't, and make it yours.
- A foundation that grows with you. These agreements create consistency within your business now and aligned growth down the road. Plus, you'll get access to updated documents as laws and regulations change.
